Tonia Christian, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC
Founder | Family Nurse Practitioner | Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
As the founder of Elite Health and Wellness, Tonia is committed to providing meaningful, patient-centered care while building a practice that makes a lasting and positive impact in the community.
She is dual-certified in Family Practice and Psychiatric-Mental Health and brings a diverse clinical background that includes primary care, urgent care, college health, hospice care, hormone replacement therapy, obesity treatment, mental health medication management, and wellness services. She has also completed recent training and certifications in multiple aesthetic procedures, allowing her to offer patients a well-rounded and personalized care experience.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2009 and received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In 2020, she completed her post-master’s certificate at the University of Southern Indiana and earned her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Tonia is passionate about combining evidence-based practice with compassionate, personalized care so patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their healthcare journey.
Outside of the clinic, Tonia values faith, family, and serving her community. She is passionate about creating a practice where patients feel genuinely cared for and confident in the support they receive.
Mindy Holloway, ACNP-BC, FNP-BC
Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner | Family Nurse Practitioner
Mindy Holloway is a dual-certified Adult Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in primary care, urgent care, weight management, college health, and clinical leadership. She is passionate about helping patients feel their best while providing thoughtful, high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Mindy earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and completed her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate at Austin Peay State University. Her broad clinical background allows her to care for patients in a variety of settings while building meaningful relationships and supporting long-term wellness.
She is known for her compassionate approach, strong clinical experience, and commitment to making patients feel comfortable, supported, and well cared for.
When she is not caring for patients, Mindy enjoys spending time with her husband, Nick, and their children, Anzley and Beckett. Much of her time outside work is spent cheering on her family at the softball field, baseball field, soccer field, or basketball court.
Destiny Stevens, CCMA
Medical Assistant
Destiny Stevens serves as Medical Assistant at Elite Health and Wellness and plays an important role in helping patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit.
She is dedicated to creating a positive patient experience and takes pride in helping the clinic provide attentive, compassionate care each day. From assisting with patient needs to supporting the clinical team, Destiny helps make each visit feel smooth, personal, and well organized.
Her friendly presence and commitment to patient care help create the warm, supportive environment Elite Health and Wellness is known for.
Outside of the clinic, Destiny enjoys spending time with her nephew and niece, Owen and Kenslee, playing with her golden retrievers, Hank and River, reading, and traveling.
